Sevoteam

Sevoteam is a Russian-Norwegian joint venture, organized as a share-holding company, and registered as a limited company.

The owners are Fugro 50%, MAGE (Murmansk) 40%, VNIOO (St. Petersburg) 5% and Sevmorgeologia (St. Petersburg) 5%.

The company was registered in 1990 and its main activities are:

1. Planning and collecting seismic multiclient programs in Russian/CIS waters, and selling these data mainly to the Western Market.
   
2. Reprocessing Russian seismic data collected by other organizations, and selling these data mainly to the Western Market.
   
3. Acquiring licences, to be able to collect and sell data from Russia.  This point is in fact a main stumbling block for successful multiclient business in Russia/CIS.
   
4. Supporting seismic vessel operations by partly crewing Fugro-Geoteam seismic vessels with Russian nationals, organizing crew shifts, arranging visas etc. for Russian crew and Norwegian visitors to Russia.
   
5. The actual marketing of the seismic data we have from Russian waters is performed by Fugro Multi Client Services AS towards the Western Market, but with support from Sevoteam regarding our clients in Russia/Moscow.
