Fast track (with post-stack migration) of the complete survey is available now. An Enhanced Fast Track including four angle stack volumes will be available with a pre-stack migration processing flow in March 2012.

The main targets within the MC3D-SWB are Middle Jurassic, Cretaceous and Middle Eocene. The Middle Jurassic play is defined as a large four-way closure. The Cretaceous and Middle Eocene submarine fan deposits form significant reservoir sandstones in the Sørvestnaget Basin. Numerous rotated fault blocks form robust structural traps with observed DHIs.

The South West Barents Sea 3D survey was acquired by Fugro Multi Client Services AS. The acquisition of the seismic data and gravity data was carried out using Fugro-Geoteam’s 3D vessel M/V Geo Coral. The processing is carried out by Fugro Seismic Imaging AS.
